For the past few years, RMCC has been developing the next generation of high-performance mountain bikers through RMCC Rampage Junior Race Program.

Rampage 2017 registration opens February 1!

Please see the program link below for information on the Rampage programs or contact Rampage Head Coach Ryan Draper with questions.

The RMCC Rampage Junior Race program is for riders ages 12-18 (born 1999-2004) who want to get into cross-country mountain bike racing, may have some experience racing … and love to ride their bike! Younger riders with strong skills, fitness and motivation may also be considered. Core competencies are having fun, riding lots and developing in a supportive team environment.

This program builds on all the fundamental skills developed from the Youth Revolution program and is designed as the next step for those kids who are looking to move into racing and develop as athletes.

Pre-requisites include a high level of fitness and fundamental mountain bike skills, as well as motivation to train hard and race.

New for 2017: We are really excited to announce our new Rampage coaching team of Ryan Draper, Brianna Roth and Katy Curtis. All three coaches are super inspiring riders with incredible experience racing, and a huge passion for working with developing young riders.  We are also making a few changes to the program to make it even better – two weeknight practices, racing in the RMCC Toonie Tuesday series, intro to road racing sessions, a longer ride outside of Canmore one Saturday per month, and coaching support at several races on the ABA calendar.
