Ryan Draper: Rampage 1 & 2 Head Coach

RMCC is stoked to have expert rider and coach Ryan Draper join us once again this season! Ryan has coached RMCC adult and youth programs since 2016, and will take over the Rampage 1 & 2 Program as Head Coach this year. Ryan’s vast racing experience and successes range from 7-day stage races around the world to 24-hour solo events. Ryan says of these years of racing that “lessons were learned and adversity was plentiful” and he is eager to work with developing athletes to share his extensive knowledge and know-how in the sport of cycling. Sharing his passion for the sport and making it accessible to other riders is his mission. Ryan is well-versed in all forms of cycling, including cross-country, all mountain, road, touring, cyclocross, triathlon, and fat biking. Ryan is the General Manager of Canmore’s Rebound Cycle and Owner/Head Coach of Cycling-101. Brianna Roth: Rampage 1 Coach

Brianna loves all things outdoors and discovered her passion for mountain biking four years ago after living and teaching in China prompted a move to the mountains for clean air and the mountain lifestyle.

After pursuing soccer and track and field into university, she decided to try mountain biking when she moved to Canmore. She immediately fell in the love with the sport and after a couple years of very focused training and growing her passion for racing and riding, she earned a UCI elite level status in mountain biking. She has mainly competed in cross-country races but has recently discovered the fun of enduro racing and plans to compete in the BC Enduro series this summer as well as potentially one or two Enduro World Series races. Aside from racing and training, Brianna is a teacher in the Bow Valley, an indoor cycling coach at Ascent Physio, and a mountain bike instructor.

Brianna still focuses on racing and competing, but what she enjoys most is getting out on the bike with others and exploring the beautiful mountains on two wheels! She is looking forward to joining the RMCC team as a coach this season and helping the athletes develop as riders and achieve their best in mountain biking!

brittanyBrittany Webster: Rampage Express Race Team Coach

You may know Brittany as one of “those cross-country skiers” in Canmore. A two-time Olympian, Brittany is well adept to the training demands and skills needed to excel in sport. Some racing career highlights include Top Canadian Female Distance Skier at the 2014 Olympics in Sochi and the Top Overall Amateur Female at the 2014 XTerra World Championship in Maui.

In the summer she competes in mountain bike, road cycling and triathlon races, and has a broad knowledge base of sport physiology and nutrition.

She recently retired as a skier to continue her university education (she has aspirations of becoming a physio therapist!) all the while keeping her love of racing alive by traveling across North America to XTerra races.

Her vibrant personality and sense of humour keeps athletes she works with positive and motivated, even through the most grueling workouts. She is excited to work with the RMCC Rampage to help our young club athletes accomplish their goals and develop a lifelong passion for sport. We are excited to have Brittany as part of the RMCC team!
