Cancellation Policy & Covid Procedure
Covid 19 Cancellation Policy
If you have tested positive for Covid or are isolating due to Covid we will provide a refund for your registered program. *Please note we cannot refund membership fees, only program fees. It is very hard to find someone to replace you in the course last minute so please let us know as soon as you can.
A covid question sheet will be included in your welcome letter about a week before your program starts. Please look at this list before each session and let your coach know if you can’t come due to any of the covid symptoms. We are trying our best to keep the coaches and other participants as safe as possible.
Covid procedures we have in place
Each person coming to camp should be doing a daily check before they show up. This check list is included in the welcome letter. Riders are not allowed to come to sessions if they answer yes to any of the questions.
Groups will not have more than 10 people maximum (the biggest groups we have will have 8 riders and 2 coaches). Groups will all meet in their own spot so as not to mingle with another group. Parents are asked to stay in the parking lot and not come into the area with the coaches and the riders. All coaches carry hand sanitizer, 2 masks (one for them and one for the child they are helping) and gloves and will use them when helping a child that is injured. All other AHS procedures that Coaches and the organization follows can be found HERE and the Alberta Bicycle Association return to play document.
Cancellation Policy – Programs
Written cancellation 10 days or more prior to the program will receive a full refund (minus a $20 admin fee). Please note that there is no refund for membership fees ONLY program fees. Cancellation in writing less than 10 days prior to the program start date will not be refunded or credited. If you need to cancel a program, please email Shannon Fox at admin@rundlemountaincyclingclub.com
In the event that RMCC cancels a program (this would only occur if there aren’t enough people registered in the program) a program refund will be provided.
Bad weather
Courses will run rain or shine (or snow), so please come prepared with extra clothing and proper gear to keep you warm and dry. Learning to ride on slippery roots and rocks will only improve your riding skills. If the trails are too wet to ride on, there are lots of skills your coaches can teach you in the parking lot or on the wide ski trails at the nordic centre that will transfer to the single track trails and improve your riding. Our coaches will pay attention to the weather and will pick trails accordingly.
