Program information:
This program is for athletes who would like to learn basic road race cycling skills and gain fitness in a fun, challenging, safe and supportive atmosphere. The Road Warrior program teaches skill development, group riding, race tactics, fitness and safety. From time trials, to crits to classic road races-we will teach these youth how to ride and race! The Road Warriors program is for athletes who are keen to challenge themselves and have fun! This is not a program for beginner riders; riders should already be capable of mounting, dismounting, know the basics of cornering, climbing, descending and have some group riding experience.
This program will incorporate both road cycling in Canmore and track cycling at the Calgary Velodrome. This program will have 2 weeknight practices. One practice will require going to Calgary to train at the velodrome.
Our Road Warriors program will be coached by Canmore’s Darren Anderson. Check out our Road Warrior Coaches HERE
