Get Ready to Ride! Summer Youth Mountain Bike Camps are back.
Join us this summer for our super fun week-long mountain bike camps. Kids will learn the fundamentals of mountain biking in a social and energized environment while exploring some of our awesome local trails. All summer camps are five half-day sessions.
Our camps are coached by professionally-certified mountain bike instructors who are passionate about riding and helping young riders develop their skills in a fun environment.
Program Details:
U7-U13 Camps: $225* + RMCC membership/insurance
Revolution parents: $105 + RMCC membership/insurance
* Includes a RMCC dry wick, technical t-shirt!
Parent Volunteers:
We rely on the support of parents to make this program a success. The Ziggy Gnarly, the Cyclocross Race and the Road Race that RMCC hosts provide money that helps subsidize all our youth programs. Any help volunteering at these races would be greatly appreciated, and necessary to help keep these program costs low.
Please Note:
We require each participant to have a well-fitting helmet free of damage/cracks/dents and a mountain bike of suitable size that is in good working condition. Bikes must have hand brakes (not pedal/coaster brakes). The helmet must be a cycling-specific helmet with CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) approval. Full face helmets are not appropriate. Some sessions may need to be cancelled or shortened due to weather. The camps take place in Canmore, mostly at Canmore Nordic Centre.
Cancellation Policy – Programs
Written cancellation 10 days or more prior to the program will receive a full refund minus an administration fee of $20. Cancellation in writing less than 10 days prior to the program start date will not be refunded or credited. Please note that there is no refund for membership fees, only program fees.
