Extend your riding season into the best part of the year with another four sessions with our awesome coaches and a great group of ladies!
We love seeing the riding progress you made over the summer and hope you’ll join us again for the fall.
Our fall programs is a great way to end the summer riding season. If you’ve been riding all summer, this is a good way to ensure the skills you’ve been working on are coming together, practice new skills and end the season feeling better than you ever imagined! We will spend most of the time each week on the trails, working on skills and techniques to help you rock your ride. We will have three riding groups, according to skill and experience level.
There will be a beginner, intermediate, and advanced group – so grab your pedal pals and let’s ride some more this fall!
Dates and details
When: Wednesday September 2, 9, 16, 23 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
Where: Canmore Nordic Centre
*plus membership/insurance if you haven’t already done an RMCC program this year.
All participants require a mountain bike (either front or dual suspension) in good working condition and a helmet. Bike gloves are strongly recommended. Come prepared for all weather conditions, as we will not let the rain stop us.
Pumping and Jumping
Do you want to improve your confidence, bike maneuvering and technical ability? Then the RMCC Women’s Skill Sessions are for you!
Thurs September 3 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm
This session will hep you take your range of motion and bike handling skills to the next level. Your coach will focus on pumping technique and wheel lifts to help you feel comfortable and in control when your wheels leave the ground. The trails at the Nordic Centre are the perfect place to to get comfortable working on these skills. If all this sounds a little intimidating, we get it. We promise that you are not alone. We will build your skills slowly at level to keep you comfortable and cater to each individuals needs.
A full suspension bike is recommended for this session (front suspension a must). Arm pads and knee pads are also recommended but not required. Participants must have flat pedals and flat shoes on for this session.
