Skill Session Dates & Descriptions
Jumps & Drops
June 20 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm
July 12 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm (co-ed)
Learn a variety of bike maneuvers that will help you feel the rush of some wheel air time while building confidence and bike handling skills. Rad rider and coach Jeff Amirault will start you off with rolling small drops, learning several wheel lifts and build up to larger drops and table top jumps. All this will be done in a local Canmore bike park.
A full suspension bike is recommended for this session (front suspension a must). Arm pads and knee pads are also recommended but not required. Participants must have flat pedals and flat shoes on for this session.
Intro to Bunnyhops
July 9 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm (co-ed)
Want to get more pop, hop and play out of your ride? Join Coach Jeff Amirault, rad bike skills guru, for this session to get your wheel lifts amped! Coach Jeff will build from front wheel lifts into manuals and bunnyhops with step-by-step coaching. Then we’ll take it to the trail to put the new skills into action. Note: this session is open to men & women.
